Rumors (2021)
The old
half snake
lives on creek bed
I have seen him
couple times

Once
He was snaking
by the bridge
I told old
half snake
to find a safe place

This concrete world is hard enough for me

I said hold on
old half snake
I told old
Half snake
you better slather up
To a place

Muck and grasses

so and Off he went
Old half snake
To a place
Where he could snake
halfly

Brefsong (2020)
Simple house with purple vine
I got here through tunnels in time
Appearing pink at first, I found the thought
It fluttered a bit for a year or two

What remains are knots in nets
stinging although unmet
By cherished pots and cattle blue

Upon a second guess,
the ants portray a web of mess
I find their tidings unblessed and integrally set

Thereupon the grass
where the woodstain portrays the face of one
who sings
words being true:
“I cannot stay”

..dersponding..
I say,
I may unknowing
also
have a place in my body
where the air moves through...
